1) Why did you become an optometrist?
I became an optometrist to change lives. I became very familiar with my local optometrist when I was young. I struggled in school and would frequently experience headaches and discomfort.
It turned out that all I needed was a pair of glasses to change my life for the better. I want to change and improve the lives of others through their vision the same way my optometrist did for me.
2) What inspired you to practice in Charlotte, NC?
I came to North Charlotte for the weather, lifestyle, and the beautiful uptown Charlotte and surrounding areas.
3) What is your favorite thing about being an eye doctor?
My favorite thing about being an optometrist is having the ability to change and improve the quality of someone’s life.
Whether it be providing clear vision with glasses and contacts or monitoring the health of the eye for systemic conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes; I love being able to make a difference in my patient’s health and lives.
4) What do you feel makes Reflect Vision Care different?
What makes Reflect Vision Care different is our ability to provide efficient, yet thorough, eye care. We have a friendly and well trained staff and the equipment necessary to care for almost all of our patient’s needs.
5) What do you like to do when you're not seeing patients?
I love Charlotte for the weather and outdoor activities so when I’m not seeing patients I can often be found outside.
I love to hike in the parks and mountainous areas. Ride on the bike trails or kayak on Lake Norman. Exploring the restaurants and bars of Uptown. Attending football games, baseball games, and NASCAR races.
